Con Man continues to put on weight every say and is now 1250 grams. We had a 90 minute cuddle and then he was extubated and moved back onto CPAP! :D He was also taken off his IV antibiotics for his pneumonia and for the cellulitis on his legs. His PICC line will be taken out tomorrow as long as we don't have to reintubate.

I consented for Connor to receive a series of five shots called Synagis to prevent serious side effects from Respiratory Synctial Virus (RSV), should he happen to catch the virus. He gets one shot monthly before and during cold and flu season. The medication is recommended for all pre-term babies because of their immature immune system, particularly because of their immature lungs.
