Connor gained 30 grams since yesterday, making him 1100 grams already! We are definitely starting to see a difference in his weight now...he's getting extra chins and chubbier arms and legs. :)
He did excellent overnight and I scheduled a cuddle with him in the afternoon. Unfortunately, our cuddle only lasted about 20 minutes before he started to desat, scaring the crap out of me. His oxygen saturation dropped to 20% and a team of four started bagging him on 100% oxygen while he was still on my chest. They quickly moved him back to his isolette once he got back up to 60%. The team told me after that it was the result of him just needing suctioning because some chest secretions were filling his airway. We will try again for another cuddle tomorrow.
