Today is a good day. Connor did really well overnight and he is now on 21% oxygen, which is what we breathe too! Until now, he had been on 30-37% so this is a big improvement. His feeds are now 4ml every 90 minutes. The bacterial infection he had was identified as Stapylococcus aureus so he is on the correct antibiotics so he does not need another attempt at a spinal tap. This also rules out that he has meningitis. :) GO CONNOR! Also, his right eyelid is starting to open up and we could see the tiniest pinhole of blue showing through! Yay!
