Con Man is feeling a bit better today. We were told he was an active little boy all day. :)
We found out that his NEC/bowel inflammation appears to be healed so he doesn't need any more x-rays for now. This means he will start receiving milk by mouth again starting tomorrow or Sunday. His EKG from yesterday showed that his PDA is not causing any issues at the moment. His pneumonia is resolving slowly. Connor was switched from morphine to fentanyl today because the morphine was counteracting the effects of the dopamine for his low blood pressure. However, his blood pressure improved throughout the day so he was taken off the dopamine tonight and will have bloodwork done tomorrow morning and then have his arterial IV line removed tomorrow or Sunday. Once the art line is removed, I CAN FINALLY HOLD HIM! :D
