Had a late visit today. Connor is stable! He is loving the morphine drip today and is super comfy. Since he is not showing any deterioration of his bowels on xrays, they have decreased the number of x-rays from every 6 hours to every 12 hours today and as long as tomorrow's 8am x-ray looks good, they will decrease again to just once a day.

He has a urinary catheter placed to keep track of how much urine he is producing but so far so good. More good news: Con man had a big poop today! The nurse called it "as big as a Virginia volleyball" lol!

On a side note, today is World Prematurity Day! I didn't know this until now but 1 in 10 babies are born premature! (Premature is defined as being born at less than 37 weeks gestation).
