Connor has been doing pretty well the last few days. He now weighs 4 lbs, 6 oz (1980 grams)! His feeds are up to 39 mL every three hours. Seems like a week ago we were excited when he got increased from 1 mL to 2 mL! He is getting so big that they are talking about moving him to a big boy crib soon. :)
He had his eye exam on Monday to check up on his ROP and see if the Avastin injections have helped or not. His nurse relayed the results from the ophthalmologist and said he is "doing quite well." Hopefully, he will continue to progress over the next few weeks and months. He will get his eyes checked weekly until further notice.
His next exam will be on Monday and I plan on being there to watch the procedure again so I can ask the ophthalmologist directly about the results after.
