Had a great time with Connor today! He was very bright-eyed and alert compared to the past week. I think all of the eye exams and procedures took a lot out of him and he is finally feeling better. :)

He was very squirmy yesterday and decided to rip off his nasal prongs and tubing. He got fit with a new set and then the ventilator alarms kept going off because it wasn't fitting perfectly so he was switched onto a mask last night. Feisty is always a good sign in the NICU. :)

Yesterday he got a booster for his Respiratory Synctial Virus vaccine and last week he got his two-month boosters.  He got a little syringe of sucrose in his mouth just before the actual needle. This causes him to release endorphins so that he doesn't feel the pain of the injection as much. So cool!
