Connor is doing so well! He is 10.5months/7 months corrected and weighs about 16 pounds. He laughs and giggles lots and loves his big brother, Cooper. He likes every new food that he has tried but his favourites are salmon, chicken, avocado and bananas. He is sooo close to crawling. He is trying so hard to crawl and sometimes gets frustrated but rolls to wherever he wants to now. He is teething and puts EVERYTHING he can into his mouth.
We had our 6-month growth and development appointment not too long ago. Connor is doing great, all things considered. He is still not the best at drinking all of his milk and it is a struggle to get 25 ounces down every day. He is always at the minimum or just under his daily requirements for hydration but there isn't much we can really do that we are not already doing and he is still growing and happy so Mac is happy with that. They think he probably has reflux, which is preventing him from being able to drink any more than 5 ounces comfortably but will not prescribe any reflux medication yet.
We also have an appointment with an occupational therapist in a month because Connor hasn't learned how to sit yet. His lower back and core muscles are a little weak, making it hard for him to sit up on his own. We are doing some core exercises that we learned at Mac every day and he has already improved. It would be great if he can learn to sit BEFORE our OT appointment. :)
Connor had his eyes checked again and he doesn't have to go back for 6 months!! He has a tiny cataract in the left eye but it is so small that it doesn't need treatment and probably won't affect his vision. What a champ!

Go Connor Go!!!!!!!
